First, earlier this week Shonda Rhimes announced that Patrick Dempsey would likely not play much of a role in the upcoming season of Grey’s Anatomy… now we learn that Patrick’s wife Jillian has filed for divorce and McDreamy has no prenup…  And you thought your year was off to a shaky start!

Patrick Dempsey is headed for the single life but it’s not his doing … we’ve learned his wife has filed for divorce, and 10’s of millions are on the line.

Jillian Fink filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable difference. Fink, who is repped by disso queen Laura Wasser, is asking for joint custody of their 3 kids, a 12-year-old girl and 7-year-old twin boys. She also wants spousal and child support.

We’ve learned they do NOT have a prenup. Patrick is reportedly worth around $40 million. The couple has been married for 15 years.
